Ilta-aurinko: Midnight Sun

Finland, being a Nordic country with 1/3 of itself in the Arctic Circle, has different amounts of daylight throughout the year. In the summer time, sunlight is always there (hence, midnight sun) and in the winter time it's very dark. From June 21 to December 21 it gets progressively darker. From December 21 to June 21, as you can guess, it gets progressively brighter. Being as though it's summer right now, I've had to readjust to having sunlight all the time, something that snuck up on me last night when it was later than I had thought.

Since my sleeping schedule is still just a bit messed up from going ahead seven hours in time, I woke up last night at 3am and couldn't sleep for an hour. What do you do when you wake up at that time? Take pictures of the sunlight of course!

(This is probably just about as dark as it will get at this time of year. Earlier in the summer, it would have been even lighter than this.)
